Welcomed into the 2nd Cohort of UNDP Student Ambassadors in South Sudan
Joined the official welcome of the 2nd cohort of UNDP Student Ambassadors in South Sudan, a youth-focused programme supporting SDG action, civic engagement, learning, and community impact.

I was welcomed as part of the 2nd cohort of UNDP Student Ambassadors in South Sudan.
The session brought together student ambassadors, UNDP representatives, and partners for an official welcome and engagement moment around the programme’s purpose, expectations, and the role young people can play in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals.

Being part of this cohort was meaningful because it connected me with other young people who are passionate about learning, service, civic engagement, and community impact.
The UNDP Student Ambassador programme created a space for us to learn, connect, and understand how youth can contribute to development conversations at both local and global levels.
For me, this moment was also a reminder that growth does not only happen through personal projects. It also happens through service, shared learning, and being part of communities that challenge young people to think beyond themselves.
As someone building in creative technology and youth empowerment, this experience strengthened my understanding of how digital skills, leadership, and community action can work together to support positive change in South Sudan.
